1. Share experience with context
You are welcome to describe what happened in your own family, what you tried, what helped, what did not help, and what questions you still have. Avoid presenting one personal outcome as proof that the same approach is safe or effective for everyone.
2. Health and safety
Community posts are not a substitute for medical care. Do not use the community to diagnose another person, prescribe medication, instruct someone to ignore urgent symptoms, or discourage appropriate professional care. Posts that create a material safety risk may be limited or removed even when the author is sincere.
3. Respect and harassment
Disagreement is allowed. Personal attacks, threats, stalking, targeted humiliation, hateful conduct, sexual harassment, and repeated attempts to provoke or intimidate other members are not. Critique the claim or behavior rather than demeaning the person.
4. Privacy and children
Do not post another person’s confidential information without permission. Avoid sharing home addresses, financial account details, full medical records, school records, identity documents, passwords, or children’s identifying information that is unnecessary to the discussion. Remember that public pages may be indexed by search engines.
5. Commercial posts and manipulation
Undisclosed affiliate links, repetitive promotions, lead-generation schemes, fake testimonials, coordinated astroturfing, deceptive reviews, and spam are not permitted. A genuine recommendation can mention a product when it is relevant to the discussion, but commercial relationships must be disclosed.
6. Impersonation and deceptive automation
Do not impersonate clinicians, moderators, other members, brands, or public institutions. Bots or AI-generated personas must not be used to manufacture fake parent experiences, consensus, reviews, or engagement.
7. Illegal or exploitative material
Content that facilitates fraud, exploitation, abuse, unlawful trade, or other illegal conduct may be removed and, when appropriate, preserved or reported as required by law.
8. Moderation
BabyCareGuide may review, edit for safety or privacy, move, limit, close, or remove community content and may restrict accounts that repeatedly violate these guidelines. Moderation is designed to protect the usefulness and safety of the space; it does not mean that every published post has been medically or factually verified.
9. Reporting concerns
