BabyCareGuide is an independent parenting publication built to help people move from trying to conceive through pregnancy, the newborn period, and early family life with clearer information and more practical context.
What we publish
Our core coverage includes preconception and pregnancy, newborn care, feeding, sleep, clothing and gear, home routines, visitors and relatives, pets and babies, parent relationships, household finances, first-time parent questions, and the practical decisions that tend to appear once a baby changes the rhythm of a home.
We aim to explain what is known, what is uncertain, what depends on a family’s circumstances, and when a question belongs with a qualified health professional rather than a general-information article.
Our editorial approach
Articles are expected to be useful before they are optimized for search. Editors should define the reader’s problem, distinguish evidence from interpretation, use primary or authoritative sources where appropriate, identify material limitations, and update time-sensitive information when standards or guidance change.
Health-related content is informational and is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, prenatal care, pediatric care, emergency services, or advice from a clinician who knows the individual patient. When a topic could affect safety, medication, feeding, sleep safety, pregnancy complications, or an infant’s health, our editorial workflow calls for additional source scrutiny and, when available, qualified review.
Independence and monetization
BabyCareGuide may be funded through advertising, affiliate commissions, sponsorships, and products or educational resources we produce. Commercial relationships should not determine our factual conclusions. Paid placements must be identified, affiliate links should use appropriate disclosures, and product recommendations should explain the criteria used to select or compare products.
Corrections and updates
We welcome correction requests. If a factual error materially changes the meaning or safety of an article, our goal is to correct it promptly and, where useful, note the update. Routine copy edits may be made without a correction note. You can send a correction through our Contact page.
AI-assisted work
We may use artificial-intelligence tools to support research organization, drafting assistance, transcription, summarization of materials we are permitted to use, or editorial operations. AI output is not treated as an authority. Our AI Policy explains the safeguards, review expectations, and disclosure principles that apply.
