These Terms of Use govern access to and use of BabyCareGuide. By using the site, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use features that require acceptance of these Terms.
1. Publisher
BabyCareGuide is operated by Baby Care Guide. Contact: henriqueguedes.me@gmail.com.
2. Informational purpose; no medical relationship
BabyCareGuide publishes general educational and editorial information about fertility, pregnancy, infants, parenting, relationships, household planning, products, and related topics. The site does not provide individualized medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, legal advice, financial advice, or a clinician–patient relationship.
Health information can become outdated and individual circumstances matter. Seek qualified professional care for symptoms, medications, pregnancy complications, infant feeding concerns, sleep-safety questions, growth or development concerns, or any situation in which a delay in care could create risk. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
3. Calculators and interactive tools
Ovulation, conception, due-date, pregnancy-week, weight-gain, baby-name, and entertainment tools provide estimates or general reference information. Calendar-based fertility tools cannot establish ovulation with certainty. Due-date estimates can be revised by clinical dating. Weight-gain ranges are population guidance and do not determine an individual care plan. Entertainment-based sex-prediction features are not scientific tests.
4. Accounts and community features
If community accounts or discussion features are enabled, you are responsible for your account credentials and for content submitted through your account. Do not impersonate others, harass users, publish unlawful material, solicit exploitation, post confidential records without authorization, or present dangerous health claims as professional advice.
We may moderate, refuse, restrict, remove, preserve, or disclose content when reasonably necessary to enforce rules, protect users, comply with law, investigate abuse, or maintain the service. Moderation does not mean that BabyCareGuide endorses or verifies every user contribution.
5. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the site’s original text, design elements, graphics, code, branding, and compilation are owned by or licensed to the operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may link to public pages and make ordinary personal use of the site. Republishing substantial content, scraping at disruptive scale, removing attribution, or using protected material to create a competing publication may require written permission.
6. User submissions
You retain ownership of content you create. By submitting content for public display, you grant BabyCareGuide a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, adapt for technical presentation, moderate, and display that content in connection with operating and promoting the service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit it.
7. Advertising, affiliate relationships, and sponsored content
The site may display advertising and affiliate links. We may earn revenue when users view, click, register, or purchase through certain commercial links. Sponsored content should be identified as such. Commercial compensation does not guarantee a favorable editorial conclusion, and product availability, price, safety notices, and specifications can change after publication.
8. Third-party services
Links, embeds, ads, merchants, social networks, payment services, and other third-party resources are operated independently. We do not control their content, security, availability, terms, or privacy practices. Review a third party’s current terms before relying on or purchasing from it.
9. Acceptable use
You may not attempt to bypass security, introduce malware, overload the service, automate abusive requests, harvest personal data unlawfully, interfere with other users, exploit minors, use the site for fraud, or use content in a manner that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We aim for accuracy and reliability but do not warrant that every article, tool, link, price, product statement, community post, or service will be error-free, complete, continuously available, or suitable for every individual situation.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, BabyCareGuide and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and consumer rights that are mandatory in your jurisdiction remain unaffected.
12. Indemnity
Where permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims arising from your unlawful use of the service, your infringement of third-party rights, or content you submit in violation of these Terms.
13. Changes and availability
We may update, suspend, replace, or discontinue site features. We may also revise these Terms. Material revisions should be posted with an updated date and, when legally required, additional notice or consent.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the BabyCareGuide operator is established, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection or conflict-of-law rules that apply to you. Mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply in your place of residence remain unaffected.
